England v Ukraine Euro 2012 Betting
England take on the co-hosts Ukraine in their third and final match of Group D! The match will be played at the Donbass Arena, Donetsk, Ukraine on 19th June 2012 at 7.45pm BST. England vs Ukraine will be broadcast on ITV in the UK.
If England have qualification from Euro 2012 Group D in their hands then a win (or draw) against Ukraine will secure them a place in the knockout stages. The other Group D match between France & Sweden also kicks off at the same time so it's all to play for!
England vs Ukraine - Our Prediction:
After completing his ban Wayne Rooney is now available to Roy Hodgson for this crucial game against Ukraine. If he goes straight into the team he will be desperate to put in a strong performance and help England qualify from Group D. Rooney could be the difference for England against a resolute Ukraine side who will have vocal home support willing them on!
These two sides last met in a 2010 World Cup qualifier when the Ukraine won 1-0 and Robert Green got sent off! We are not expecting the same result this time around but there is no doubt Ukraine and in particular Andriy Shevchenko in what could be his final international appearance will prove a solid test for England. After a tense opening 30 minutes we think England will go through the gears and win this quite comfortably!
Match Result: 3-1 ENGLAND WIN
First Goalscorer: Wayne Rooney
Under/Over 2.5 Goals: Over
HalfTime/FullTime: England/England
