The co-hosts Poland have been handed a tough looking assignment in Group A with Greece, Russia and the Czech Republic standing in their way. Poland will kick-off Euro 2012 against Greece in Warsaw on 8th June 2012.

From a betting perspective it looks likely Russia will progress into the Quarter Finals as Group Winners with Poland, Greece and the Czech Republic scrapping it out for 2nd place. Home advantage for Poland could be massive but we're going for Greece (unbeaten in qualifying) to progress alongside Russia from Group A!

Group B looks to be the "Group of Death" with two of the antepost favourites to win Euro 2012, Germany and Holland mixing it with Denmark and Portugal! Before the groups were drawn we had Denmark down as one of our outsiders but they face a massive task and despite Cristiano Ronaldo we won't be touching Portugal!

If all goes to plan then we will be behind Germany and Holland to qualify for the knockout stages but who will win the group? This will surely be decided when they meet on June 13th 2012 in Kharkiv but any slip-ups by the favourites could be punished by the Danes at a massive price!

The draw hasn't been kind to the Republic of Ireland as they will face the favourites and reigning European & World Champions Spain! Italy and Croatia make up Group C and surely the battle is on for who will fill second place behind Spain?

The beteuro2012.com team expect Spain to qualify with relative ease and at this stage we are siding with the unpredictable Croatia to follow them into the Quarter Finals. Slaven Bilic's men scraped through qualifying but their team is littered with class players and if on form they can qualify at the expense of Italy and the Republic of Ireland.

In Group D we find the co-hosts Ukraine along with Sweden, France and England. England will be relieved to have avoided some of the more fancied nations but England still face an uphill challenge to qualify out of Group D.

After the debacle of World Cup 2010 Laurent Blanc has got the French house in order and they will be tough opponents for anyone. England's record against the Swedes is famously poor at major championships whilst the Ukraine have home advantage to call upon. We think Group D is going to be a tight affair but we are going for France to top the group and England filling second spot with both progressing into the Quarter Finals!

Prediction - France to win the Group with England as Runners Up
